Brookhaven Monument Company History
Brookhaven Monument began operations in 1947 under the ownership of the Belton E. Different family, when Highway 51 was just a gravel road. The Different family crafted thousands of memorials for the people of Brookhaven and Lincoln County for 30 years. In 1977, the business was purchased by the Jeff D. Pace family. Our present building, constructed in 1986, is located just across the highway from the original location, which still stands today. Our facility houses state of the art equipment, allowing us to do all the necessary work on site. Our customers can choose from over 250 monuments displayed on our beautiful grounds and indoor showroom. Many of our monuments are certified by the Elberton Granite Association, and we are proud members of the Monument Builders of North America. Dave and Lilann Pace continue the tradition of providing the finest quality granite, marble and bronze memorials to the families in Southwest Mississippi. The company has expanded over the years to include Natchez Monument Company in Natchez, MS, Martin Marble Works in Vicksburg, MS and Copiah Monument Company in Hazlehurst, MS.
